NutriServe N&P Enhancer
NutriServe N&P Enhancer ensures the ideal equilibrium of nitrogen and phosphorus in wastewater, fostering an environment where microorganisms thrive and pollutant removal is maximized. Acting as a catalyst for microbial activity, this solution empowers beneficial microorganisms to operate at their peak, enhancing organic matter decomposition and pollutant removal efficiency.

Urea & DAP is added in waste waters to supplement the need of Nitrogen & Phosphates, which are essential macro nutrients required for healthy grow of MLSS. Commercially Urea has always been the source of Nitrogen & DAP provides for Nitrogen & Phosphates both. UD-Alternate is not a 100% replacement for Urea & DAP, but it can surely reduce the quantity required by 50 – 75%. Chemically or stoichiometrically, UD-Alternate cannot be compared with urea & DAP in terms of equal replacement of NH3-N or PO4. However UD-Alternate justifies it’s addition by providing the same technicalities which is provided by Urea & DAP. This is technically possible by providing an alternative source of Ammoniacal Nitrogen & Phosphates. Chemically speaking Urea is the richest & highest source of NH3-N, While DAP is the richest source of PO4, however mixed culture microbes (MLSS) behave differently in a working plant. N2 fixation, N2 assimilation & effective N2 utilization can be achieved even at lower concentrations of Urea & DAP provided the MLSS has particular strains which can achieve the correct degree of N2 & PO4 assimilation. UD-Alternate contains macro, micro and secondary nutrients, amino acids, vitamins, proteins, carbohydrates and minerals naturally present in marine extracts. This unique combination helps the microbes present inside the aeration tank perform better.
- Powdered form, Easy to use and easy to store
- BOD Enhancer supplements useful bacteria within the ETP/STP
- Shock load stabilization
- Urea, DAP stoppage & starting of UD-Alternate has to be supplemented with BactaServe addition. Adding BactaServe ensures presence of strong bacterial strains which can degrade COD & BOD without the high demand for NH3-N & PO4, which is otherwise required in cases of strains propagated from cow-dung.
- Always reduce the dosage of Urea DAP gradually. Any sudden changes in the system disturbs the overall Biomass health.
- 1st Month – Reduce Urea & DAP quantity by 25% & start adding the recommended UD- Alternate dose.
- 2nd Month – Reduce Urea & DAP quantity by 50% & start adding the recommended UD-Alternate dose.
- 3rd Month – Reduce Urea & DAP quantity by 75% & start adding the recommended UD-Alternate dose.
- 4th Month & onwards – Continue adding Urea & DAP upto 25% of the original dose & continue adding UD-Alternate as per dosage recommended.
