BactaServe Nutrient Removal - Bioculture for Ammonia and Nitrogen Reduction
BactaServe Nutrient Removal is a specialised bioculture designed to reduce ammonia nitrogen, enhance nitrification efficiency and improve overall nutrient removal in wastewater treatment plants. It contains acclimatised microbial strains that degrade ammonia, boost nitrifying and denitrifying activity and maintain stable performance even in low temperature conditions.

BactaServe Nutrient Removal

How BactaServe Nutrient Removal Works
The microbial strains accelerate nitrification by converting ammonia into nitrite and then into nitrate. Additional bacteria support denitrification, converting nitrate into harmless nitrogen gas. This dual biological pathway helps achieve complete nitrogen removal. The microbes also stabilise treatment during low temperature conditions, allowing plants to maintain high performance year round.
Dosage and Activation
Activation Method
Mix 1 kg BactaServe Nutrient Removal in 20 litres of clean, non chlorinated feed water. Stir thoroughly and use after activation.
