BactaServe Anaerobic Bioculture for Wastewater Treatment

BactaServe Anaerobic is a specialised anaerobic bioculture designed for efficient wastewater treatment and biogas generation. It contains selected microbial strains that thrive in oxygen free environments and accelerate hydrolysis, acidogenesis and methanogenesis. This improves digester stability, increases biogas output and reduces commissioning time for anaerobic systems.

BactaServe Anaerobic Bioculture product pouch by Amalgam, featuring orange and black packaging with specifications for anaerobic bacterial applications.

BactaServe Anaerobic

Pack Size -1Kg

The formulation contains acclimatised microbes that adapt quickly to industrial wastewater and sludge conditions. It supports faster startup of anaerobic digesters and ensures quick recovery after process upsets or lean periods. Continuous use of BactaServe Anaerobic helps maintain healthy microbial activity inside UASB, EGSB, anaerobic lagoons and biogas reactors.

  • Better effluent quality from anaerobic reactors

Suitable Treatment Systems

BactaServe Anaerobic is ideal for all major anaerobic wastewater treatment systems including:

  • UASB Upflow Anaerobic Sludge Blanket

  • EGSB Expanded Granular Sludge Blanket

  • Biogas digesters

  • Anaerobic lagoons

  • Anaerobic filters with stone media

  • Anaerobic filters with PVC media

How BactaServe Anaerobic Works

The microbial blend accelerates the three key anaerobic stages. During hydrolysis, complex organic matter is broken down into simpler compounds. During acidogenesis, these compounds convert into volatile fatty acids. During methanogenesis, these acids are transformed into methane rich biogas. The product also degrades oil and grease which prevents foaming and improves reactor stability.

Dosage and Activation

Activation Method

Mix 1 kg BactaServe Anaerobic in 20 litres of clean non chlorinated water. Stir thoroughly and activate the solution before dosing.

Dosage Guidelines

Dosage depends on wastewater volume, organic load, sludge characteristics and desired biogas output. Custom dosing schedules are provided based on system evaluation.
