BactaServe Dairy - Bioculture for Dairy Wastewater Treatment
BactaServe Dairy is a specialised bioculture designed for dairy industry wastewater treatment. It helps degrade lactose rich effluent, reduces high BOD and COD and stabilises biological processes in UASB, anaerobic digesters and fixed film reactors. The microbial formulation increases acetogenesis and methanogenesis which improves biogas generation and reduces sludge production.

BactaServe Dairy
Pack Size -1Kg
Dairy wastewater contains high levels of fats, proteins, lactose and suspended solids that require strong biological treatment. BactaServe Dairy contains acclimatised microbial strains that work effectively on dairy effluent and support both anaerobic and aerobic processes. It helps control odour, improve digester performance and maintain stable plant operation even under fluctuating loads.

How BactaServe Dairy Works
The microbial strains in BactaServe Dairy accelerate the breakdown of lactose, fats, proteins and organic loads present in dairy wastewater. They support hydrolysis and acidogenesis, followed by improved methanogenesis which enhances biogas production. The microbes also help stabilise ammoniacal nitrogen and reduce volatile fatty acid accumulation, preventing digester upset.
Dosage and Activation
Activation Method
Mix 1 kg BactaServe Dairy in 20 litres of clean non chlorinated feed water. Stir well and activate fully before dosing.
Dosage Guidelines
Daily dosage depends on wastewater volume, inlet BOD and COD, organic load and digester size and biogas requirement. Contact us for customised dosing plan.
