UNITOR™ DieselPower™ CFPP
UNITOR™ DieselPower™ CFPP is a fuel treatment additive designed to improve cold flow properties of marine distillate fuels by reducing wax crystal formation and improving low-temperature fuel performance.
Cold Flow Improver for Marine Diesel Fuel
UNITOR™ DieselPower™ CFPP is a specialized fuel additive developed to improve the cold weather operability of marine distillate fuels. The product helps delay the onset of paraffin crystallization, reducing the size of wax crystals formed within the fuel and helping maintain fuel flow at lower temperatures.
As temperatures decrease, paraffin molecules naturally present in diesel fuel begin to form wax crystals that can accumulate within tanks, fuel lines, and filtration systems. DieselPower™ CFPP helps control this process, improving fuel handling and reducing operational risks associated with cold weather conditions.
Amalgam Biotech supplies genuine UNITOR™ fuel treatment chemicals across India for shipping companies, marine operators, offshore facilities, and industrial fuel users.

Why Choose UNITOR™ DieselPower™ CFPP?
Marine distillate fuels naturally contain paraffins that begin to crystallize as temperatures fall. These wax crystals can combine into larger structures that restrict fuel flow and create operational challenges within storage and fuel handling systems.
UNITOR™ DieselPower™ CFPP is specifically designed to modify wax crystal formation, helping fuel remain more manageable at lower temperatures. By reducing wax crystal size and improving suspension characteristics, the product helps maintain fuel operability during cold weather conditions.

Directions for Use
UNITOR™ DieselPower™ CFPP should be dosed directly into the fuel tank before bunkering or fuel transfer to ensure proper mixing.
Recommended dosage:
Standard treatment: 1 litre per 1,000 litres of fuel (1000 ppm)
Severe conditions: Up to 1 litre per 500 litres of fuel (2000 ppm)
For optimum performance, the fuel temperature should be at least 5°C above the measured cloud point at the time of dosing.
Improves Cold Flow Properties
As diesel fuel temperature approaches its cloud point, wax crystals begin to form and accumulate throughout the fuel.
UNITOR™ DieselPower™ CFPP helps:
Delay paraffin crystallization
Reduce wax crystal growth
Improve fuel flow
Lower pour point
Improve cold weather operability
This helps fuel remain usable over a wider temperature range and supports reliable operation during colder conditions.
Reduces Wax Sedimentation & Filter Problems
Wax sedimentation can create significant operational issues in fuel storage and fuel distribution systems. Accumulated wax can block filters, restrict fuel transfer, and affect engine reliability.
UNITOR™ DieselPower™ CFPP helps keep wax particles suspended within the fuel, reducing the tendency for wax deposits to settle and accumulate.
The product helps support:
Cleaner fuel tanks
Reduced filter plugging
Improved fuel transfer
Better fuel circulation
Reliable fuel system performance
Supports Cold Weather Fuel Reliability
Cold weather conditions can create unexpected fuel handling challenges, particularly when vessels operate in lower-temperature environments or fuel remains in storage for extended periods.
UNITOR™ DieselPower™ CFPP helps operators prepare fuel systems for changing temperatures by improving low-temperature fuel performance before wax-related problems develop.
Benefits include:
Improved fuel operability
Reduced risk of fuel flow restrictions
Better storage performance
Enhanced winter fuel management
Increased operational confidence
