NutriServe Anaerobic – Process Additive for Anaerobic Wastewater Treatment

NutriServe Anaerobic is a water-soluble micronutrient formulation developed to enhance the metabolic activity of microorganisms in anaerobic biological treatment systems. It supports improved degradation of organic pollutants, strengthens biological stability, and helps anaerobic reactors manage shock loads and fluctuating influent conditions more effectively.

If your anaerobic system is facing slow BOD reduction, poor sludge characteristics, unstable digestion performance, or difficulty handling organic shock loads, NutriServe Anaerobic provides essential micronutrient support to restore and strengthen microbial activity without any modification to the existing system.

Where NutriServe Anaerobic Can Be Used

NutriServe Anaerobic is suitable for common anaerobic wastewater treatment systems, including:

  • Anaerobic digesters

  • UASB reactors

  • Anaerobic lagoons

  • Equalization tanks feeding anaerobic systems

  • Industrial ETPs with anaerobic stages

No modification to existing systems is required.

How NutriServe Anaerobic Works

NutriServe Anaerobic supplies essential micronutrients required for microbial enzyme activity and growth in oxygen-free environments. These nutrients improve the efficiency of anaerobic microorganisms responsible for breaking down organic pollutants. As microbial metabolism improves, complex compounds are converted into simpler forms more effectively, digestion performance becomes stable, and the system becomes more capable of handling variations in organic load and flow.

Dosage Guidelines

  • General dosage is 5 to 15 mg per liter for domestic sewage

  • Dosage for ETP applications varies depending on wastewater characteristics

  • NutriServe Anaerobic should be dissolved in raw water and dosed continuously over 24 hours

  • Recommended to use a 100–200 liter HDPE/FRP/PP dosing tank

  • The dosing tank should be placed at the inlet end of the biological tank

  • It can also be mixed in the storage tank before the biological tank for proper mixing with influent

  • Technical guidance is available for dosage planning and optimization

Composition, Shelf Life, and Appearance

  • Contains a proprietary blend of micronutrients including Potassium, Magnesium, Manganese, Iron, Zinc, Molybdenum, Calcium, Cobalt, and Copper

  • Shelf life: Minimum 2 years when stored in a cool and dry place

  • Standard color: Pale yellow-green; color may change to earthy brown due to temperature and humidity without affecting nutritional value
