How NutriServe BOD Enhancer Works 

​Microorganisms in biological treatment systems require a minimum level of organic food (BOD) for growth and multiplication. In cases where wastewater lacks sufficient organic content, microbial activity slows down, affecting sludge development and treatment efficiency. NutriServe BOD Enhancer increases the available BOD in the system, enabling faster microbial growth, improved MLSS formation, and quicker stabilization of the biological process during commissioning and low-load conditions. 

Dosage Guidelines 

  • 1 kg of NutriServe BOD Enhancer contributes approximately 1 kg BOD and 1.5 kg COD  

  • Dosage depends on existing BOD levels and plant volume 

  • Should be dissolved in water and dosed into the biological system 

  • Can be applied during commissioning or during low load operation 

  • Technical support is available for dosage planning and optimization
