NutriServe NutriFlo for Biological Wastewater Treatment
NutriServe NutriFlo is a complete liquid nutrient booster designed to support healthy biological wastewater treatment. It provides essential nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and magnesium to maintain a healthy F/M ratio, enhance biomass growth and support enzyme generation in aeration tanks.
NutriServe NutriFlo
NutriServe NutriFlo is a liquid nutrient solution formulated to provide essential nutrients required for healthy biological wastewater treatment. It supplies nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium and trace elements to support microbial biomass and biological activity in aeration tanks.
Maintaining the right nutrient balance is important for effective biological wastewater treatment. NutriServe NutriFlo helps maintain a healthy Food-to-Microorganism (F/M) ratio while supporting biomass growth and enzyme generation.
The product is designed for continuous dosing into aeration tanks and can be applied using gravity dosing or a metering pump. Dosage can be adjusted according to COD load, MLSS and wastewater characteristics to support consistent biological treatment performance.

How NutriServe NutriFlo Works
NutriServe NutriFlo works by supplying essential nutrients required by microbial biomass during biological wastewater treatment. The liquid nutrient solution contains nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, water, stabilisers and trace elements.
When dosed into the aeration tank, these nutrients become available to the biological biomass. Maintaining adequate nutrient availability supports biomass growth and enzyme generation while helping maintain a healthy F/M ratio.
The product can be diluted with clean water in an HDPE or FRP dosing tank before continuous dosing. A gravity dosing system or metering pump can be used to introduce the prepared solution into the aeration tank.
Proper mixing ensures that nutrients are distributed evenly throughout the aeration tank and reach the biological biomass effectively.
Dosage Guidelines
-
The standard dosage of NutriServe NutriFlo is 28 kg for every 100 kg of COD. Actual dosage requirements can vary according to MLSS levels and wastewater characteristics.
Preparation Method
-
Dilute NutriServe NutriFlo with clean water in a suitable HDPE or FRP dosing tank before application.
Continuous Dosing
-
The diluted solution can be continuously dosed into the aeration tank using either gravity dosing or a metering pump.
Application Guidelines
-
Start with the recommended dosage of 28 kg per 100 kg COD
-
Adjust dosage according to COD loading and wastewater characteristics
-
Monitor MLSS and F/M ratio to optimise nutrient availability
-
Ensure proper mixing within the aeration tank
-
Maintain uniform nutrient distribution throughout the biological system
-
Store the product away from direct sunlight and strong chemicals
Actual dosage requirements may vary depending on MLSS, COD load and wastewater characteristics. Plant-specific dosing adjustments should be made based on operating conditions and treatment performance.
